German examinations

We offer courses to prepare you for German examinations which
correspond to the scale of language levels laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. You can choose between inlingua’s own internal examinations and the European Language Certificates TELC.

Grundstufenprüfung Deutsch (GD)

The “Grundstufenprüfung” Deutsch can be taken upon completion of the elementary level and corresponds to level A2 of the Common European Framework. The examination is offered to inlingua students as well as external candidates at the following times:

Zertifikat Deutsch als Fremdsprache (ZDaF)

“Zertifikat Deutsch als Fremdsprache” is proof that you have a sound basic knowledge of the German language and can master situations encountered on a daily basis. It corresponds to competence level B1 laid down in the Common European Framework. The examination is offered to inlingua students as well as external candidates at the following times:

Mittelstufenprüfung Deutsch (MD)

The inlingua “Mittelstufenprüfung Deutsch” qualifies successful candidates to study at a German higher education institute, e.g. Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt am Main. It corresponds to DSH (Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang ausländischer Studienbewerber), which is a standard
language proficiency test required to study at German higher education institutions. The “Mittelstufenprüfung Deutsch” consists of listening comprehension, reading comprehension, writing, grammar as well as speaking. The examination is offered to inlingua students and external candidates at the following times:
