Telc German B1 exam
The telc German B1 certificate is a prerequisite for acquiring German citizenship. It proves that you can competently use the German language in all everyday situations and in familiar professional environments.
What to expect in the exam:
The exam consists of a written and an oral part. The written exam lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes and is divided into the following categories:
Reading Comprehension and Language Elements (Vocabulary and Grammar) (90 minutes), Listening Comprehension (30 minutes), Written Expression (30 minutes)
The oral exam lasts 15 minutes. Before the oral exam, you have 20 minutes of preparation time. The oral part tests active language use.
The exam is considered passed if at least 60% is achieved in both the written and oral parts. Therefore, a minimum of 180 points must be achieved (135 points in the written exam and 45 points in the oral exam).

Please note that a late registration fee of €20.00 will be charged if your payment is not received by the specified registration deadline.
You will receive payment information via email after registration.
Exam registration
After registration, you will receive an email from inlingua Frankfurt with payment information. Please transfer the amount of €240.00 within the specified period to the account listed in the email. Upon receipt of payment, you will receive a confirmation from inlingua Frankfurt for exam participation.
